As shiny as silk, as soft as cashmere. Our extrafine merino wool is a classic example of an authentic Italian luxury product. Merino wool is known for its breathable, anti-bacterial and extreme soft and warm qualities.

What is mulesing free? Mulesing is a painful procedure that involves cutting skin from around a lamb’s tail to create a scar where no wool grows anymore. This makes it less likely to attract flies to the moist wool area around the buttock, where they lay eggs. Mulesing is a quick and effective method of controlling flystrike, however is considered cruelty to animals. We only source mulesing-free merino wool as we are committed to make our decisions in respect to animal welfare.

Our knit accessories are knitted in Switzerland in a small manufactory less than 30km away from our studio. We regularly visit our manufacturer to develop new products together. All pieces are knitted fully-fashioned, which is a more traditional and higher quality method than cut and sew knitwear. As it is knitted directly in the final shape, there’s no waste of yarn. Fully-fashioned knitwear is a slower, more complex and expensive method – however rewards you with a seamless, neat and high-quality finish.
